The bathroom was exclusively for my usage: it was composed of a shower and a wooden furo (1-person) in a charming room. ![]() Tatami, futon, beam of woods and fusuma provides this unique feeling of being back to the past. I had the 'Jazz' room, ground floor which is very large (maybe 35 to 40 square meters), including a view to the garden and robust chairs. The house has its own garden where you can appreciate a delightful rest under the sun. It is located near Shinjuku Gyoen (near = the garden is on the other side of the barrier), at 10 minutes walking from Sentagaya JR station and around 6 minutes from 2 Marunouchi subway lines. LaKeyaki house offers a rare (maybe a unique) experience of living in an traditional house in the center of Tokyo. ![]() I've visited Japan for several years now and I usually stayed at hostels or ryokan which can propose interesting services and comfort.
